Hi, my name is Lindsey. I'm Brady's Sister.
Jessica is my sister in law. Or I should say..sister.
Here recently tragedy struck. My brother passed away on February 17 of 2024. We were, and still, are obviously lost.
My brother leaves behind a wife (Jessica Neilson)and a five month old son.
I'm raising money for My sister in law and Nephew.
The goal is to help them as much as possible so she may get on her feet, without the stress of finances in the way.
Once I was told the news I left in the middle of my shift at work and drove straight to them, to be there for his wife and child In Portsmouth VA , where they shared a home together. Brady was active Navy , stationed out of Norfolk.
While our Navy representatives were phenomenal. Nobody could answer the number one question of insurances and things. After a few days, my mother admitted that due to a technicality. All the money had been left to her instead of his wife and child. During our recorded phone conversation, she even admits that Jessica should have that money.
Sabrina has done nothing to help...
instead has went back on her word of giving any of the money to Jessica and his son.
She claims she is going to put money in a high interest trust that Wayland can collect when he’s a certain age. However, that does nothing for him now. As well as the fact that that is a vindictive move against a single mother.
Our primary concern is that Jessica and Wayland be cared for . She was a stay at home mom, and now has inherited all of his financials and a home. Virginia is a probate state , so that will likely take a while to completely handle. And it could be months before she sees any form of payment from the Navy.
The goal is to help her as much as possible , taking a small stress off of her plate so she can mourn and focus on her son.
It’s a shame how greed ruins families. my Mother has already began spending his life insurance and death gratuity. All Jess receives is the benefits automatically bestowed to a widow.
But at the end of the day, I will do whatever I must to help take care of my brothers legacy.
All of the proceeds from this fundraiser, go directly to Jessica and her son.
Please share. Do not feel obligated to help. Just know a sharing is enough.
Mental health is so important so please reach out if you need help.
