Hi, I'm Erin, Jessica's half sister. I'm starting this fundraiser to help my sister in a time of need.

As many of you know, her beautiful Mama, Paula Syvrud, fought an almost year long battle with liver cancer. Which peacefully ended Friday June 6th. Jessica and her mom lived together for many years and Jessica was her sole caregiver from the moment they said it was terminal. Ensuring Paula had someone with her during every hospital stay, treatment and doctors appointment she endured. Jessica was unable to work the amount of hours she usually does because of these things and Paula obviously had to walk away from the job she loved so much. So times have gotten hard. Now what most of y'all don't know, is that while being there for everything her mom needed, Jessica was also being seen by the doctors for her own diagnosis of colon cancer. She will be having surgery next month and doing her own treatments to win this battle. Which will keep her out of work for a little while.

So I'm coming to y'all with a huge request. First for prayers and love for Jessica and her healing and health. Second to help take the financial burden off of her for cremation/memorial services for Paula and to keep her in their home for the next few months until she is physically able to move into a smaller place.

Every little bit will help her and I know she would be extremely grateful. If you can't help financially, please at least remember how much she believes in the power of prayer. Pray for her. Add her to your prayer lists at your church. Send her your love and positive words. Those also will help her through this time.
