Jessica Smalls Beat Cancer!!!!!!

On July 17th, 2018 after surgery to remove half her thyroid, Jessica Smalls of Petrolia (formerly a Purchase of Tweed) was diagnosed with late stage thyroid cancer. Jessica is no stranger to health issues. In 2000, she was diagnosed with degenerative osteoarthritis and given a prognosis of crippled by 35 years old. Leaving home for the first time at 19 with this diagnosis, she researched, radically shifted her diet and lifestyle and 17 years later she is NOT crippled. Ever the health warrior, Jessica has forged along through infertility, depression, suicide, chronic pain, pituitary tumor, fibro-cystic breast disease, hormone irregularities that make her feel crazy, miscarriage, thyroid nodes and is now healing cancer. Many of these concerns are happening all at once. Under the care of her Naturopathic Doctor David Shih out of Petrolia, the decision was made to undergo alternative treatments. Due to the nature of her health scenario she is being treated with three different therapies: One is a full spectrum oil with a host of anecdotal research to support it's healing properties (generous support from friends has made it possible to have this medicine at a more realistic cost than purchasing from a producer) -Mistletoe IV Therapy has been studied in Germany for 35 years and prevents angiogenesis (blood vessel formation in tumors) -High Dose Vit C IV Therapy is shown to be a potent antivrial/anti tumor medicine in high doses when delivered through the blood. Mistletoe, vitamin c and additional supplements cost $2000/month The cost of therapy over the next two years will be $60,000. At this point, with a family income of $60,000 a year, the only way to continue with treatments is to ask for help. Jessica lives with her three kids Ruby (9), Hazel (7) and Corbin (5), husband Denver, dog Lady (who is having her own health struggles that may end her life) who is 8. She is the owner of Spirit Academy Sarnia where she supports people on their personal and spiritual development journeys. Denver is a member of Labourers Union Liuna 1089 in Sarnia and is currently working as much as he can. The three kids are members of Sarnia Olympic TaeKwonDo in Sarnia, who have been generously providing classes at no cost since the end of summer. With help with treatment costs, the family can resume paying for this service that has proven to be a vital tool over the last two years for the kids. Anything you can give is appreciated <3
