Help Jessica Pay For Her Service Dog
Hello! My name is Jessica and I have struggled for a long time with my health, and that has made everyday things hard. I have tourette, which causes involuntary movements that can really limit what I can do. I also have temporary paralysis episodes that cause me to fall to the floor without warning, and sometimes I am paralyzed for over an hour. One minute, I might be walking in the store, and the next minute, I am on the floor, unable to move at all. For most of my life, I have had very bad anxiety. I have almost daily panic attacks, I struggle to be social, and I constantly worry. After a long time of not having independence and feeling unsafe wherever I go, we have decided a service dog would really help me. A service dog would be able to get help for me, keep me calm and safe, help when my tics throw me off balance, and much more. A service dog would be able to give me the independence I need to succeed in school, and all other aspects of my life. The cost of the service dog and training really adds up so I am very grateful in advance for any donations.
We've been working with New Hope, an organization that trains service dogs. They have found me a dog, his name is Hudson, and I'm going to travel to Pennsylvania to pick him up. I am super excited to gain back some independence with his help!
