Hello, my name is Clara Parker and I am the best friend of Jessica. I am making this fundraiser hoping to give her a little relief.

Jessica had recently started working in a food truck to save extra money for her children. She was working at a church event for 4th of July, where she was badly burned in a work incident. The grease trap on one of the fryers was accidentally emptied, spilling grease into the food truck. This caused Jessica to slip into scolding hot grease. Jessica was flown by helicopter to a hospital in San Antonio. She suffered second and third-degree burns on 20% of her body including her legs, buttocks, and her hands have the worst of it. She has limited mobility in her hands. She's needing skin grafts and will be taken for her first surgery tomorrow morning. Jessica has a long road of recovery ahead of her, and will be in the hospital for a minimum of two weeks if not longer, followed by physical therapy. Any contribution is greatly appreciated as she is a single mother to three children and will be out of work for some time. Thank you and God bless.
