Jessica McEwen our beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend is facing the fight of her life. She has been a devoted loving wife and mother to her two children — Tia-Marie 14‑year‑old daughter and Gavin her 12‑year‑old son — who are her entire world. Since February 10th, 2025, Jessica has been battling Stage 4 cancer with strength, courage, and a determination that inspires everyone around her.

Recently, Jessica received heartbreaking news: despite every treatment and every ounce of fight she has given, doctors estimate she may have only have 5–6 months left to live. Even in the face of this devastating prognosis, she refuses to give up. She is determined to pursue every possible option that could give her more time with her children and her husband.

One treatment, Tisotumab Vedotin (Tivdak) — available in Buffalo, NY — has shown promising results for patients in similar situations. Unfortunately, this treatment is extremely expensive and not covered in Canada. The costs of chemotherapy, along with the ongoing travel between Canada and the United States, would place an overwhelming financial burden on the family.
