Help Jessica Maintain Stability After Jamie's Passing
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating loss of my cousin, James Dana McInnis Jr.—known to us all as Jamie—who passed away at 11:11 pm on March 18, 2025.
A couple of weeks ago, we learned he had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that had spread to multiple parts of his body. Just a week ago, doctors gave him a prognosis of two weeks, and we made the difficult decision to move him out of the hospital and bring him home to be surrounded by family. Sadly, he left us far too soon.
Jamie was a loving husband, a wonderful person, and a light in our lives. His sudden passing has left his wife, Jessica, facing an unimaginable future without him. Beyond the emotional toll, she is now grappling with the overwhelming burden of financial uncertainty. With Jamie gone, Jessica is left to manage their home, bills, and daily expenses on a limited income—an impossible task without support. Housing, in particular, has become a pressing concern, and we want to ensure she has the stability she needs during this heartbreaking time.
I’m starting this GoFundMe to rally our community around Jessica and help ease her financial strain as she navigates this loss. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering her rent or mortgage, utilities, her dogs and other essential bills in the months ahead. Your generosity will give her the breathing room to grieve without the added fear of losing her home or stability.
We are so grateful for any help you can offer—whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping Jessica in your thoughts. Thank you for standing with us during this devastating time and for showing Jamie’s memory the love he so deeply deserved.
With all our gratitude,
Joshua Woodcock and members of the McInnis family
