We are raising funds for my sweet fiancé, Jessica Mae. We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits as Jessica battles thyroid cancer. Jess was diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma (thyroid cancer) on July 15, 2024. Through many appointments and tests since then, the cancer seems to be localized (thankfully) but in order for her to keep her thyroid, the cancer will require aggressive treatments to be reduced and removed. We are facing a long journey ahead of us.

Jessica will be traveling to a surgeon who specializes in treatments that will save the integrity of her thyroid during cancer care. For those of you who aren’t familiar, the thyroid is the largest endocrine organ in the body that controls metabolism, mood, temperature and plays a vital role in fertility for women. Jessica is still quite young and we hope to start a family someday, so keeping this organ will be critical in her treatment and for our future.

Once her treatments are complete, she will begin a year long monitoring process to assess for progress. At that stage, her surgeon will assess the results of the treatment to determine if surgery will be necessary. Even with insurance, Jessica will still have considerable out-of-pocket expenses. This fund will aid in relieving the financial burden of Jessica’s treatments, medications, follow-up appointments, and travel, along with ensuring her comfort during this process.

For those who know Jessica, you've undoubtedly experienced her ability to make everyone around her feel valued and loved. Her kindness and generosity are unmatched, always being the first to offer help when others are in need. Even in tough times, she continues to radiate positivity.

She has a unique compassion and respect for all living things (especially cats) that I have never seen in another person. Her passion for helping others has led her to build a successful career in guiding people through their unique and challenging health goals. Every day, she brings warmth and care to her work, empowering others to take control of their well-being and live happier, healthier lives.
