Our neighbor and friend, Jessica King, is now battling cancer for the 4th time.

She found out this week that she has three more pre-cancerous spots in her mouth. Since they are pre-cancerous, she has chosen to go with a trial which will be immunotherapy injected into the worst spot. Her first appointment is on March 20 and will require a week stay in Houston at M.D. Anderson. She will have 10 appointments from March 18-24 and will begin receiving the trial meds on March 20. The trial will only pay for the drugs used for treatment; everything else that insurance doesn’t cover will have to come out of pocket. It’s early in the year and deductibles still have to be met. Jessica and her family have been going through this for so long and cancer is sooo expensive to fight.
