Help Jessica keep breathing

My name is Jessica Gonzalez. I’m 38 years old and mother of two boys. As most of you know and for those who don’t. I’ve been battling 2 autoimmune diseases Sarcoidosis and Sjögren that lead to me having Pulmonary Hypertension for about 3 years now. Unfortunately there is limited studies and treatments for this illness. I’ve been on oxygen 24/7 now for those 3 years and have exhausted all my treatment options. We always knew double lung transplant was going to be the end result, we just hoped we would have more time. Unfortunately I’m not responding to treatments and my health is rapidly declining. After going to Advent in Orlando, Jackson Memorial in Miami, and Tampa General and be told I’m a high risk and not a candidate for them due to lack of advancement in there hospitals. I finally got a yes in Shands hospital in Gainesville, Fl. They have the treatments I would need before transplant and are willing to take my case. I’ve been listed. This whole experience has been not only very emotionally exhausting for my family and I, but has caused some financial struggles. The hospital suggested to start a go fund me with at least a 10,000 minimum. I have insurance but there are certain things I have to pay out of pocket. I hate that I’m in this position but I’m reaching out to friends and family for any kind of help they can offer nothing is to small. Even if it’s $1 anything helps. Although the transplant won’t be a cure it will give me a few more years with my kids and loved ones! Thanks in advance!
