My name is Jessica, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a challenging time with my health. I have severe anemia, extreme mast cell activation syndrome symptoms, and rheumatoid arthritis. The inflammation from these conditions makes it impossible for me to regenerate blood cells and absorb iron, which has left me feeling exhausted and worried about my future.

To get the care I need, I have to travel to see specialists who are far from home. I also need iron infusions, but my insurance won’t cover them until I’m critically ill—which is a risk I can’t afford to take. On top of that, I need to see an oncologist and hematologist to find out if there’s something more serious going on, which has been causing me a lot of anxiety and uncertainty.

I’m determined to get over this hump so I can get back to work and regain my health.
