Help Jessica get to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games!

Hi all! My name is Melissa Parratto and I’ve started a GoFundMe to help my sister, Jessica Parratto. Jess is training for her second Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan next summer.
I can personally attest to how much our family has sacrificed to help Jess achieve her goals. During Jessica's freshman year of high school, her talent was identified and she was asked to attend a training camp at the National Diving Training Center in Indianapolis, IN. Shortly after, she was invited to stay for good and train with the best!

At 14, Jess uprooted her life in New Hampshire and began living with a host family. A few months later, our mom moved out there, and a year later, our dad joined them. Jess continued her education online, sacrificing a normal teenage experience for her Olympic Dream! My parents left the life they had started 26 years earlier to be right alongside and support their daughter.
I was and still am in awe of my family.
My parents and Jess did not know if the risk was going to pay off, but through hard work, grit and constant support from family and friends, Jess did it! In 2016, she qualified for the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where she competed in the Synchronized Women's Platform event as well as the Individual Platform event.
I hope to help Jess achieve this incredible honor once again next summer!

This spring, Jess graduated from Indiana University, which means she does not have her athletic scholarship anymore. Training for international competition is physically and emotionally demanding. If she wants to make the Olympic team, she has to treat diving as her full time job. This funding would go towards everything she needs to accomplish her Olympic dream including: necessary medical treatments, working with a physical therapist and strength coach, paying for travel expenses, hotels, and fees. Any amount helps! It takes a village to get someone to the Olympic Games and we believe Jess can do it again! I know she is immensely grateful of everyone who has helped her and continues to help her along the way. Thank you so much and let's help her be as prepared as possible for next summer. Go Jess!
