Help Jessica Get Back to the United States

Hi my name is Jessica Drebing and as many of you know I was involved in an e-bike accident in Mexico on May 1st

I suffered head trauma which led to a brain bleed and swelling in my brain at the time. My family arranged for a medical flight from Mexico back to the US. I’ve been released from the hospital and returned home to Bemidji.

I am currently waiting to see a local neurologist for further guidance going forward.

The medical flight alone cost $33,000. I have many medical bills both behind and ahead of me.

I am extremely grateful for the support that everyone has provided so far.

As of 1pm on Wednesday May 3rd,

She was moved to a public hospital last night without consent or notification to family. We are still working with the hospitals and trying to determine the extent of her injuries.

Hi, my name is Erin Meagher and Jessica Drebing is a long time family friend of mine.

She recently traveled to Mexico for a vacation with her boyfriend and they were involved in a Moped accident last night around 8pm, May 1st 2023. She had a seizure shortly after the accident and was brought to a hospital in Tulum where she was found to have suffered a brain bleed along with multiple facial fractures. Her boyfriend has been able to remain with her and provide her family updates as they arrange travel to get to her.

Navigating the medical system in Mexico has been an absolute nightmare for this family as they try to get her to the appropriate facility that can support her needs.

If you can, please help this family out to relieve some of the financial burden that comes with this horrific nightmare they are living through. Whatever you contribute will go towards medical expenses incurred in Mexico, International Medical Air Transport, medical services provided once she is back in the United States and family needs.
