Jessica, my best friend of almost 10 years, has been fighting a horrible custody battle for her young son. She has endured years of terror and abuse from her child’s father, and recently, while she was in California seeing a toxicologist and visiting her own father, her son’s father moved across the country with her son. Despite all of this, Jessica is determined to keep fighting for her child. She is now moving to where her son’s father relocated because our local police and justice department have not been able to help her.

While Jessica was away, her home was burglarized, leaving her with even fewer resources. She has been staying with me, and together we’ve managed to raise some money by selling furniture, which helped us buy her airline ticket and some basic necessities. Now, Jessica needs a bit more support to get a safe place to stay for a couple of nights and to make sure she has enough for food and survival until she can find a job in her new city.

Jessica is one of the strongest women I know, and she does not deserve the hand she’s been dealt. Please help me keep one of my sisters safe. Any support you can offer will make a huge difference in her life. Thank you so much for your kindness.
