Help Jessica Fight Cancer! #Beat Cancer!

Donation protected
Hi friends and family, As many of you know, my family just went through this terrible battle with my mother. Now it has struck our family again, with my niece Jessica. Many of you know Jessica from her bubbly yet crazy personality and her love of animals. Jessica can be described as enthusiastic, outgoing, caring, and always trying to make you laugh 35 year old. In September 2021, Jessica was diagnosed with advanced rectal cancer, which was a complete shock to our family. She originally was not feeling well and experiencing a lot of pain. She tried to ignore her symptoms until she finally confided in my sister/ her mother. My sister encouraged her to go to the doctors. Since going to the doctors, she has had multiple tests, lab work and biopsies. She has a 10.3 cm tumor in her rectal area which has metastasized to the lymph nodes in her groin. At this point in time, we do not know if it has spread to her cervix. We should know soon. We are being told that this type of cancer is treatable with the right care team, treatment plan, resources and support system. With that being said, cancer does not wait and we shouldn’t either. By donating you would be helping to fund the following expenses along with with providing emotional support. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated. Even a simple share to family and friends or a donation that’s the price of a cup of coffee. Jessica has always been a strong and independent woman. It has been extremely hard seeing such an active person going through so much pain and being dealt this hand at such a young age. It is time to come together and give positive support by sending good vibes and all our love for her to get through this! While she does have health insurance, we all know that it doesn’t mean much these days. Her medical bills are already mounting and have become an overwhelming stress for her.  As you can imagine, this will be a huge life changing expense and difficult experience for her. She is scheduled to have surgery 10/8/21. After that she will have to endure 6 weeks of daily radiation along with chemo. Chemo treatments will consist of 6-8 pills a day and two intravenous chemo treatments. -surgeries: colostomy. -Imaging tests, PET scan, CT scans, MRI’s, blood work, and all of the many doctor appointments. -Additional medication to combat the side effects from treatment. -Colostomy bags, adhesive and additional supplies needed. -Loss of income. As much as Jessica would want to work (she has never been  the type to sit still), based on her type of cancer and the intense treatment plan, she will need to take 3-6 months months off of work. -Personal and family necessities (food, housing, any specialists and caregiving required). -Counseling and educational services and recovery aide. Thank you for everyone’s prayers and best wishes and support for Jessica as she continues to fight and kick cancers butt!!!
