On September 24th, Jessica’s mother underwent open heart surgery. After surgery, her mom suffered serious complications and remains in the ICU with a tracheostomy, fighting to recover and facing a long road ahead that will include time in a long term rehabilitation facility once she stabilizes.

Then, in the midst of this unimaginable situation, tragedy struck again. On Thursday October 16th, Jessica’s father passed away suddenly at home. This has left the family completely devastated and unprepared for the financial and emotional burden that has followed.

Jessica is now trying to manage arrangements for many things regarding her father’s passing, while also staying by her mother’s side in the hospital. She is traveling back and forth to Arkansas, where her mom will remain in rehab, and the costs are overwhelming — including funeral home expenses, travel, and basic necessities during this incredibly difficult time.
