Support Jessica Bobalek After the Loss of Her Son Isaiah

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jenna and Jessica Bobalek is my best friend. We have known each other for decades. We were fortunate to be able to spend many years working side-by-side as Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) partners on an ambulance in Boulder, CO. I have seen firsthand Jessica’s incredible heart, her humor, and her tireless dedication to helping others. Now, I am creating this fundraiser on her behalf as she faces a tragedy no parent should ever endure.

On September 1, 2025, Jessica’s world was shattered when her beloved son, Isaiah, passed away tragically due to an accident at just 28 years old in Los Angeles, California.

Isaiah was a kind soul with a gentle heart. He loved animals, had a free and wandering spirit, and just like his mom, never hesitated to help strangers in need. He had a deep passion for music and art, finding beauty and expression in ways that touched those around him. Like his mom, Isaiah also had an amazing sense of humor. He was able to bring smiles and laughter even in the hardest of times. He will be remembered for his caring spirit, his creativity, his quick wit, and the lives he touched along his journey.

Jessica has spent her entire adult life in service to others. For more than 20 years she has worked on the frontlines as an EMT, comforting and caring for people in their darkest hours. She has also served as a dispatcher, as a CCT in an emergency room, and now works in the Safety Department at Elitch Gardens in Denver. Those who know Jessica know her humor and strength. They are the same qualities Isaiah carried with him and shared with the world.

EMTs and public safety professionals like Jessica are rarely compensated for the true weight of what they carry. The pay is modest, and the demands of the work are enormous. Now, on top of funeral expenses, Jessica is taking a leave from work to grieve and begin to heal. This fundraiser will not only help cover the cost of bringing Isaiah home, cremation, and memorial arrangements, but also provide some financial support to Jessica during the time she must be away from work.

No parent should have to carry both the heartbreak and the financial burden of laying their child to rest. By coming together, we can ease this part of the weight for Jessica, allowing her to focus on healing and honoring Isaiah’s memory.

If you are able, please consider donating to help cover these expenses. Any amount will make a difference, and if you can’t give, sharing this fundraiser means the world.

Jessica has spent her life taking care of others. Now, it’s our turn to take care of her while remembering Isaiah for his compassion, his humor, his creativity, and the many lives he touched. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me support Jessica in this darkest time. Your kindness and generosity will not be forgotten. Thank you.
