Hello All! In honor of an amazing friend to many, I'm asking for donations for Jessica, who is currently fighting a battle with triple-negative breast cancer.

Jessica's life has been turned upside down. Last April, she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. She underwent surgery and was told all the cancer had been removed. Unfortunately, the cancer has returned and spread to her lymph nodes.

Triple-negative breast cancer is an aggressive and invasive type of cancer. It tends to grow and spread rapidly. There are also fewer treatment options for it.

Jessica's treatment has begun with 6 months of weekly chemotherapy appointments for 6 hours at a time, along with 1 year of immunotherapy. She will also be having surgery and radiation.

Jessica is unable to continue to work while she completes treatment. She is currently on unpaid leave and was denied long-term disability. She is not able to continue having health insurance from her employer unless she pays them $1200 a month. On top of Jessica taking a leave from work to fight for her life, Daniel has had to take time off from his job to help Jessica with appointments and caring for their 3 children who are very active with school, sports, and social lives. This has caused a huge financial burden on their family.

Jessica and Daniel are not ones to ask for assistance, but they are quick to help others. Their family is struggling and still trying to process this devastating news.
