Help Jessica and her child stay safe and feel loved

Hey, all! This is an important message, so I’ll get right to it:
Our friend and sister in Christ, Jessica, recently escaped domestic violence with her 4-year-old daughter. Since then, she’s fought hard to create a better life for both of them, but with a child to care for who isn’t in school, it’s hard for her to work enough hours to make the money she needs to support both of them. Jessica is a warrior and has explored many options for assistance with her situation—from charities to shelters, and even applying for a program where she could use public property for the two of them to sleep in her car. Currently, out of the kindness of a friend’s heart, the two of them are sleeping in the living room of her home, and while that’s a wonderful gift that Jessica is exceedingly grateful for, it’s not a sustainable living situation for a mother and her young child.
Recently, our church offered to enroll her daughter back into their preschool. Jessica’s daughter used to go to the church preschool when Jessica was receiving financial assistance, and Jessica said it was her daughter’s favorite place to go; she was heartbroken when she had to leave. Jessica wants nothing more than to return her daughter to the preschool, not only because of how happy it will make her, but with that time, Jessica can find more work to afford a stable living situation for the two of them. However, Jessica can’t afford the cost of any preschool right now.
This is where you come in. As a community, we want to band together and raise enough money for six months tuition at the church preschool so Jessica can re-enroll her child. Any excess funds raised will go toward her living expenses and whatever else she needs to help them in this process.
In Scripture, God calls us to love one another as Christ loved the church, meaning that love, at times, comes with sacrifice. Jessica has sacrificed a home, financial security, and many nights of sleep to love her daughter—and herself—the way God tells them that they deserve to be loved. If you can pray over your finances and find it in your heart to give any amount to help Jessica and her daughter, we can show them the kind of sacrificial love they do—and have always—deserved.
We’re hoping to reach our goal of $4,500 by the end of January (01/31/2025). Please feel free to share this link with anyone who you feel may be able and willing to give. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and for your consideration.
“You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.”
