Tragically, my niece's husband, Randall Burkett, 44, drowned at a lake near Globe on Sunday, January 19, 2025. The family went for a day of fishing, and the rubber raft was sliced by an unseen tree and went under quickly, trapping him in the weeds, while the family watched helplessly from the shore. Jessica now has to plan a funeral while raising 5 children on a single income. Randall contributed half of the family income and now Jessica is the sole provider for all 5 children.

Randall was an amazing husband, father. Jessica and Randall had recently adopted their 5th child, a daughter that they love as their own.
