Help Jessica, Jae and Their Family Recover After a Serious On-Duty Car Accident
Our friend Jessica Cuaresma is in need of our help and we're asking for support.
On Sunday, their lives changed in an instant. While on duty, Jae and his partner were struck by a driver who ran a red light. The impact was severe—and although we are beyond grateful that both of them survived, Jae’s injuries have been extensive.
After days in the ICU, Jae is finally home, but his recovery journey is just beginning. He suffered a brain bleed, a concussion, a blown eardrum, and numerous other injuries that they are still navigating one day at a time. He’s battered, exhausted, and in pain—but he’s here with us, and for that we are endlessly thankful.
The coming weeks and months will be filled with medical appointments, follow-ups, and treatments as they work toward healing. As his primary support, Jessica is doing everything she can, but she's running on empty—emotionally, physically, and financially.
We’re raising funds to help cover:
Medical bills and ongoing treatments
Transportation to and from appointments
Time away from work during recovery
Any unexpected expenses that come with long-term healing
If you’re able to contribute, share, or send a prayer, we appreciate it more than words can express. Every bit of support helps lighten the load during an incredibly overwhelming time.
Thank you for keeping Jae in your thoughts and for standing with their family as he heals.
