My name is Jessica. I am a single mother of 2 children with no support from the father. I work multiple jobs and am working on my master's at the same time.

When leaving football practice for my child, I had my children in the vehicle along with my son's coach and his children. There was an issue with my vehicle, so we had to pull off the highway. We were on the shoulder of the off-ramp with the hazard lights on, and we were all pushing the vehicle. Someone came out of nowhere and hit us. My 11-year-old son was hit, but thankfully, he's okay. His coach suffered a dislocated shoulder from being hit as well. I was not only hit but run over. I was in shock, so I don't remember much except being under the other person's car with the tire on my leg. The other driver had to actually drive backward off my leg. The other driver did not even call the cops. Instead, the first call was to his parents, and he was an adult. So, my 11-year-old son had to call the police. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Thankfully and hopefully, there were no broken bones. However, all over my body below the waist are severe abrasions and bruises, as well as a bump and abrasion on my head. There is also the same with my hand.

Due to these injuries, I am in severe pain, so much so that I am now immobile. I can't even get to the bathroom on my own. My 3 jobs all require me to drive since I do deliveries for Amazon, Walmart, and Instacart. I have no ability to drive based on my current injuries and my ability to even walk at this point. I also need to get my vehicle, which was towed, so I don't even have a vehicle at the moment. Because I never got a chance to check, I have no idea what type of shape my vehicle is in since it was hit as well.

I am the type of person who has never used this platform or any other like it, but I am in a desperate situation as I have a lot of bills to pay and have to feed my kids. I have no savings since I work hard and all my money goes to bills and my children. I just need help for the short-term to get through this downtime while I can't work nor take care of my kids the way I normally would. So, I am asking please for any help so I do not lose everything from this and so I have the ability to feed my kids and keep all the utilities on, as well as all the other necessities until I can get back to work. I don't even know how insurance will handle it yet, and I am just in need of immediate assistance to get through every day until I am back on my feet.
