Hello, my name is Jessica and we are trying to raise funds so that we can move from our current rental in Canton to a safe rental. The property company said they would have this home done and ready when we moved into the rental back in March and nothing has been completed. The last time anyone was at our rental was back in April and they haven’t come back to finish anything. We have water that comes in through our kitchen when it rains and mold continues to grow no matter how often we clean it. The electrical in the main bedroom, bedrooms upstairs, and half of the basement is not in working condition. It’s just hanging from the ceiling not complete. They did not put any vent/register covers on anywhere. There is no door to the main bedroom. Most of the outlets and light switches do not have any covers on them. They didn’t put some of the trim and baseboards on. They said they would fix the outside of the home and put new gutters on and replace the roof and that has not happened. They broke a window in the basement and never replaced the glass so we covered it the best we could. The sewer drain has backed up twice and we’ve had to take care of that ourselves and the same with our AC. We send out messages and emails and then days without a response. And nothing gets done. We have had multiple bats get into the house and the attic is full of bat droppings and the smell is awful. There is so much more I could list but we have to get out of this rental for our health and safety. My son, has a severe dust mite allergy and he can’t even sleep in his room upstairs because he can’t breathe. Any donation will help us.
