Over Labor Day weekend, Jessica and her children were in a car accident. Thankfully, everyone walked away without injuries—but Jessica’s car was badly damaged and is now unsafe to drive.
Jessica is a single mother to Christian and Caitlin. Christian has severe Autism and is non-verbal, and Caitlin has bravely fought two different cancers in recent years, including undergoing a difficult bone marrow transplant.
Jessica is also a dedicated special education teacher and an active member of the special populations community. Despite the many challenges life has thrown her way, she continues to pour her heart into her family and her students.
Right now, Jessica is facing another uphill battle. Her SUV is at a collision center in Roanoke, and the repair costs total $7,000. She needs her car to safely get to work, as well as to take Christian and Caitlin to school and appointments.
This sweet family has been through so much, and Jessica just can’t seem to catch a break. We are asking for help—whether through a donation, sharing this fundraiser, or lifting this family up in prayer. Every bit of support makes a difference.
Thank you for showing love and care to Jessica, Christian, and Caitlin during this difficult time.
