Help Jessica after headshot wound

Our mother, Jessica Larkin, was unintentionally shot in the head and rushed to UAB hospital on 06/09/2021 at 10:45 pm. Due to an investigation we cannot give full details as to what happened that night but we can say that it was a domestic dispute that resulted in the injury. At the moment the bullet is still lodged in her skull but she is in stable condition and her outcome looks promising. Our mom is currently fighting for her life and all we can do is try to be strong and pray. She's doing well now but still has a long road to recovery we are starting to consider the financial burden this could take on her once she's discharged. Her medical bills are at $40,000 and rising in addition to her personal expenses such as her vehicles, insurance, etc. She also has four dogs that we have to board until we can either find a temporary home or until she is released.
