Jessi is one of the most kind hearted people you will ever meet. She has POTS which has led to her having a pacemaker as well as a port. In August, she began having flares that she thought were just bad pots flares. She went to urgent care multiple times and was sent home thinking things were fine.
A few weeks later the flares continued and began getting worse. She went to the ER where they did a lot more tests and found out she had sepsis. They began treating it with antibiotics but it was not going away. They took out her port because that was infected. She was sent home after a week being in the hospital.
4 days later the fevers continued. She went back to the er and they admitted her. They found the infection had reached her pacemaker. She is set to have it taken out and a New one put in with in the next few days.
She has been in the hospital and out of work for over a month. All of her sick time is used up. Her job is incredibly understanding but with being in the hospital for so long comes a lot of medical bills as well as being behind on normal bills.
Any donations are greatly appreciated to help her through this and to get her back on her feet with as little stress as we can!
