Help Jessi get to the bottom of her health problems

Long story short…Jessi, my dog, had her teeth cleaned and was under sedation and with an intubation at West Davis Veterinary Center. She was discharged on the note that she had no coughing, wheezing, or anything on 4/23. Over the next two days, she developed a pronounced swallowing reflux. I take her into the ER out at SAGE in Campbell, California on Friday 4/26 night where I pick up a $4,100 bill for the night stay and the meds/services (currently in negotiation with healthy paws). They state that they think it is esophagitis and prescribe meds for the acids and nausea.
For the next two days, she stayed with me and then I dropped her off with my folks. My parents took very good care of her and she seemed to be getting better. I then took her back on Thursday, May 2nd and took her to a follow up vet appointment. Another bill later and more meds, I took her home and proceeded to follow the regimen of giving her meds as I fell ill myself due to the stress over the weekend. My girlfriend took care of her and I. Following Sunday, May 5th, she could not consistently get her meds and was starting to hard swallow while eating and drinking again. I took her in for a follow up on May 7th again and picked up her heart guard, nexguard, and other meds, and took her home. When home, she was given small bites or nexguard and heart guard, and she vomited it all up. I then gave her gabapentin and she kept it down. An hour+ later, I fed her and tried to give her another nexguard and heartguard and she vomited again. I let her rest for the night where I woke up on 5 or 6 occasions, moments where she was at peace and moments where she was wheezing.
On the morning of May 8th, I ran and got her some baby food and she ate it while hard swallowing and then hard swallowed water. I tried to pill her with peanut butter a little while later and she threw up her pills and peanut butter. I panicked and just jumped into my car to take her to the UC Davis veterinary ER to work to get further assessments.
She’s my baby and what saved me back in 2018…I don’t want to lose her and I hate asking for help, yet could use some help as bills keep piling on and I have not had the best year so far with regards to many unfortunate instances that are working to deplete what money I have left.
