Help Jesse's Father in His Health Battle

Hi, my name is Jesse. I’m doing a fundraiser for my father’s medical and care needs. I have taken care of my dad for going on 6 years. He is a veteran, a hard-working man who has health issues and severe care needs. I have never asked for help for him before, seeing some turn their back on him due to the amount of care needed to keep him comfortable or trying to help with the simple basics of life. I have done this on my own.

I have given everything I had for his wellbeing. I have no more to give without help I have reached out and applied for State and VA assistance for him but this is not a quick process . I have no regrets or want sympathy. I just want to ensure that I never turned my back on him and do everything that I can to help him with know regrets bieng a Son I don’t think there is anything to plan for taking care of a parent and watching there decline.I have learned that our system to help the elderly is not that productive. Health care telling me what he needs and not having the means to help with it due to staffing or other excuses .I know my Father didn’t prepare for the future and life as he has it now .he owns nothing and has nothing however he still deserves help and people to stand by him which has not been the case he worked his whole life and served our country with honor.

I have been serving for over a decade and I’ve served the community that I’ve lived in and nationwide on deployment, never expecting or wanting any kind of handout or help. I’m at the point now that I am asking the community for help, anything will help him it will go to his healthcare and needs. Thank you for considering helping.with this help my goal will be to have a critical care person take care of his needs and hope future assistance will become available and take over with bathing, eating, changing clothes, as well as several other private items for his medical needs which are a lot.
