I am creating this fundraiser because I am facing one of the hardest battles of my life. I have cancer, and I am trying to stay strong while preparing for the removal of a tumor in my head. Every day has brought fear, uncertainty, and emotional exhaustion, and at the same time I am carrying the weight of bills and basic living expenses that do not stop while I fight for my health. On top of all of this, I am in the process of eviction, which has made this already overwhelming situation even more frightening. I have saved a little to try to keep myself afloat, but it is not enough to cover everything I am up against. What I am going through has turned my life upside down, and it has become more than I can manage alone.

The funds raised will help me pay for surgery, treatment, food, rent, urgent housing needs, and food for my PTSD dog, Bodhi, while I focus on getting through this. Support would give me the chance to put my energy toward healing instead of constantly worrying about how I will afford the care I need, keep a roof over my head, care for Bodhi, or make it through each day. Asking for help is not easy, but right now I truly need the kindness and support of others. Life has become a lot, and I really need a miracle.
