Hi friends, family, and community,
My name is Jesse Schroeder, and I am an 8th grader with an exciting opportunity ahead of me—this spring, my class will be traveling to Washington, D.C.! This trip is not just about sightseeing, but about experiencing our nation’s history up close: visiting the U.S. Capitol, touring monuments and memorials, walking through museums, and learning in ways that go far beyond the classroom.
For me, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore the places I’ve only read about in history books. I am especially excited to stand where so many important events have taken place, from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to Arlington National Cemetery.
The cost of the trip covers travel, lodging, meals, and entrance fees—and while my family is doing everything we can to make it possible, we could use a little help.
How You Can Help
I am asking for your support to help me reach my fundraising goal. Any contribution, big or small, will bring me closer to experiencing this amazing educational journey. If you’re unable to give financially, sharing this page with others would also mean so much.
Why It Matters
This trip will not only create lasting memories but also inspire my future education and growth. Seeing history in person will deepen my understanding and appreciation of the freedoms and responsibilities we have as citizens.
Thank you for considering supporting me. With your help, I’ll be able to take part in this incredible adventure to Washington, D.C.!
With gratitude,
Jesse Schroeder
