My brother in law, Jesse Trejo, recently experienced a life-altering accident. On December 9th he had to be air lifted from his home to the hospital where it was determined he has suffered 3rd degree burns on 34% of his body. As a result of these injuries, Jesse also lost an ear. He has been in the hospital ever since and just got out of the burn ICU a couple of days ago. They don’t know how long his hospital stay will be. He has since had 3 procedures and still has another one next week. He is currently undergoing specialized care, which has include surgeries, skin grafts, hospital stays, medications, and ongoing rehabilitation.

With having 3 kids and this happening right before Christmas, medical bills, travel for treatment, time away from work, and daily living expenses are quickly adding up. Our goal is to ease that burden so he can focus fully on healing—both physically and emotionally—without the constant worry of mounting costs.
