Help Jesse Recover After a Traumatic Brain Injury
In a single instant, everything changed for Jesse and his family.
Jesse is 36 years old — a devoted husband, loving father to three beautiful young children (ages 7, 5, and 4), and a hardworking attorney who has always dedicated himself to helping others. On April 21, while inspecting a roof in Alabama as part of a claim he was handling, Jesse fell approximately 30 feet through the roof of the building.
His head struck a car below before hitting the concrete floor.
After being airlifted to Huntsville Hospital, Jesse was rushed into surgery after a CT scan revealed he had a large subdural hematoma as well as multiple brain contusions. A craniotomy was performed to stop the brain hemorrhage. He also sustained fractures to his spine at C6 and T7.
Jesse remained in the Surgical ICU in a coma on a ventilator while his family prayed for a miracle.
We are incredibly grateful that Jesse survived. But his journey is only beginning.
He continues to fight every day as he prepares to return home to Florida, where he will face a long and difficult recovery involving extensive physical, occupational, and neuropsychological therapy. The road ahead is uncertain, and the emotional and financial burden on his young family is overwhelming.
Jesse is an avid golfer, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He loves playing guitar and often plays music for his children at bedtime. He also coaches his son’s Little League team and treasures every moment spent with his family. Those who know Jesse know his kindness, integrity, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to the people he loves.
At the time of the accident, Jesse did not have health insurance. The medical expenses from his hospitalization, surgeries, and the extensive rehabilitation ahead are already overwhelming, and his family is now facing the additional strain of lost income during his recovery.
We are asking for your support to help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go directly Jesse's wife Victoria, who will ensure they are applied toward medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and living expenses until Jesse is able to return to work.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Jesse and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Every act of kindness, support, and encouragement means more than words can express.
