Help Jesse Parker's Family During This Difficult Time
Donation protected
Jesse Parker was tragically diagnosed with Crohn's disease when he was only 16; he lost his promising future in baseball and has had to deal with creating a new life for himself. Jesse and I met in 2015, and I encouraged him to fall in love with his culture again. We have been involved in Sundance and sweat lodges, and love our extended family we have met along the way. Thankfully, he was in remission when I met him, and luckily has not had any flare-ups the entire time. However, now his entire colon is severely inflamed and causing intense pain and nausea.
He has not been able to work since 4/14, and likely won't be back to work for another couple weeks to a month while we're in the hospital. We have a beautiful little girl and family to take care of. His short-term disability benefit is less than half of what he normally makes. During this difficult time of healing, we won't be able to afford our monthly bills without his income. The medical bills will be too expensive for us right now as well. We don't want to lose our home or cars while focusing on getting Jesse better.
We appreciate any help you can offer to keep our family in our home! Please donate to help us pay our bills, or come visit us in the hospital :)
