Urgent help for Jesse with this cancer battle!

Hi all,

Here’s the backstory: Jesse, a super healthy 47 year old guy, had a kidney out in November of last year after doctors found a 9cm tumor (It was a big shock, nobody knows what caused it). In 99.5% of these cases, removal of the kidney fixes the problem and patients go on to live a long and healthy life. Scans were clear post-surgery and we thought we were in the clear.

But in June of this year, Jesse started having unexplained fevers and breathing problems. Scans revealed new tumors in his lungs, muscle and brain. He was diagnosed with Stage IV, aggressive renal cancer and hospitalized. He underwent surgeries to ameliorate the substantial fluid gathering around his lungs and stabilize his breathing.

He is currently stable and has started treatment to slow the cancer (immunotherapy and targeted therapy).

As many of you know, Jesse and Chandra are freelance artists without disability insurance or a big safety net. They are also parents of a young child. All donations will go to help them deal with bills & expenses as they navigate this difficult time.
