We need financial help with an immigration lawyer;

Jesse and I no longer feel safe living here in the United States. With all the anti-lgbtq bills that have been passed and Healthcare being threatened we want to flee the country. I recently quit my job, last month, after being physically threatened twice in one week. I was also called a ginger F*gg*t. I worked at a bowling alley, lol. Anyway, I feel nervous out in public now. Im afriad, i guess. My scholarships got reduced so much that I had to drop out because I couldn't afford it. I'm worried for Jesse's and I's safety and mental well-being. We are both most of the letters in the LGBTQ community.

I qualify as a Canadian Citizen by decent under Canadian Law. I just hired an immigration lawyer in Vancouver,BC, Canada on a 3,200 dollar retainer to help obtain my mother's birth certificate, to prove my decent. We are estranged and she's still alive so it's hard to get her certificate. Canada still works with the snail mail so it will be a few hundreds of dollars to mail certified documents around Canada.

Nova Scotia is where they process applications and they are flooded so, it might take awhile. They also laid off a bunch of government workers so, it will take extra long.

BUT here is our chance! I got a chance to get out but I don't have 4,000 dollars.

I did a little research on prices and this seems pretty fair as far as immigration costs go. (Upwards to 10000)

Well, I turn 40 next month if that sweetens the giving vibes more.
