Help Jesse and His Wife Through a Medical Crisis

Hello, our names are Marina, Candace, Travis, Garrett, Becky, and Nem. We are siblings who are raising funds to support our father, Jesse, and his wife during a very difficult time.

Our dad has always been a hardworking man, but he was recently diagnosed with multiple serious health conditions, including two types of cancer and Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR). Due to his declining health, he has been off work for about nine months.

Jesse has already undergone a heart procedure, as well as two surgeries to biopsy and remove a cancerous growth. After the second surgery, it was discovered that the cancer was very aggressive and had spread further, requiring a third major surgery in Vancouver. This upcoming procedure will involve a two-week hospital stay and a two-month recovery period. Once that treatment is complete, he will need additional therapy to address the second cancer.

Jesse is currently 70 years old, and the road ahead will be long and challenging. Our biggest fear is that he will not be able to return to work. Without his income, and with the mounting cost of medical treatments, there is a real risk that he and his wife could lose their home.

To help relieve some of this burden, Jesse’s son-in-law, Nem, will be organizing and receiving the funds on Jesse’s behalf. Jesse is currently managing numerous symptoms and medical appointments, while also living in a rural area with limited access to reliable technology and banking tools. To reduce his stress and ensure every dollar goes directly to where it's needed, Nem will handle the technical and financial aspects of the campaign and personally transfer all donations to Jesse.

Our goal is to support Jesse and his wife by covering critical expenses during this difficult period so they can remain in their home and focus on what matters most: Jesse’s health and their time together.

We are hoping to start by raising $50,000 to help cover their medical expenses, cost of living, and to ensure they can stay in their home during this difficult journey. We will work towards this goal and then go from there. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference and is deeply appreciated.
