Hi everyone, my name is Jayme and I’m creating this fundraiser to help my brother, Jesse, his partner, Haley, and their two children, Audry and Anin, rebuild their home.

On Friday, March 11th, after over a decade of creating a wonderful family home in Northern Ontario, my brother’s house burned down. We are all very grateful to say that all four family members, as well as their three dogs, safely made it out physically unharmed. However, besides each other and the clothes on their backs, they lost everything in the fire. Everything from basics (like clothing, wallets, phones), to special interests (instruments, art supplies, books, movies), to the special keepsakes that honour their memories have all been lost.

They are currently safely sheltering at a friend’s house while they recover from this event. Their hope is to start rebuilding what was lost as soon as possible. The intention of this fundraiser is to help them do just this. Funds raised will primarily go towards the cost of rebuilding their house, but will also be used to help replace personal items, home/kitchenwares, and generally help them with any expenses incurred during this extraordinarily challenging time. Any amount of money contributed will be an incredible help.

I’d like to raise a virtual glass to Jesse, Haley, Audry, and Anin. They are a deeply inspiring, loving, kind, and courageous family. To know them is to love them.
