Tricia and Jesse’s wedding is 2 weeks away, and last Tuesday, Jesse was working on a customer's car (for those that don’t know, he is a great mechanic) when a radiator blew up, and he was seriously burned. He has burns on his hand, whole arm, shoulder, and chest. He went to the burn center at VCU, and the burns are much worse than they thought. He has deep second-degree burns and possibly some third-degree burns. He will be admitted for pain management to clean the burned wounds and remove the dead skin, and he may possibly need surgery to do a skin graft. Jesse has been taken out of work and will not be able to return until all of his wounds are healed. Their family is now without Jesse’s income, and with delays in his company starting a workman’s comp claim, it may be a while until that is accepted.

Their wedding is just two weeks away, and the doctor has told Jesse that we may have to cancel our wedding for now and postpone for another date, which is devastating to both Jesse and Tricia. This GoFundMe is created to help with medical bills and financially support his family. The burn center is over 2 hours away, and they are aware that this will be a long process of healing. Jesse and Tricia have had to cancel their honeymoon and are aware their wedding may not happen in 2 weeks, as heartbreaking as it is they thank God Jesse wasn’t injured more than he was.
