Help Jesse and Bean Overcome Health Challenges

Update:

After months of medical evaluation Jesse has had Meniere's disease ruled out and it is looking more positive that a possible resolution may be in sight! He still has all the symptoms and they are not resolved but he may finally be on a path to normalcy. He is still fighting beaurscracy in the meantime so every bit helps.

Bean update: Bean is doing great as Jesse puts her above his own needs. Thanks to his efforts the kindness of friends, she gets her special food and allergy meds. She is an amazing kitty who has the best home any kitty could ever ask for.

I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my son, Jesse, and his beloved cat, Bean.

After being on temporary disability for a few weeks, Jesse has received a life-altering diagnosis that impacts his ability to work. Ménière's disease very significantly affects his hearing and balance. He has sudden, unpredictable attacks of dizziness and severe tinnitus that may last from 20 minutes to 12 hours. He has lost some of his hearing, and is very hopeful that the medical community can prevent him from losing more of his hearing.

Jesse is working with resources to try to redefine what he will do, find a new normal, and to garner resources to support him while he navigates the red tape.

In the meantime, Jesse's beloved cat buddy, Bean, has her own medical challenges. Jesse, the best cat dad known to man, has been providing her with the intensive care to manage severe allergies. Bean requires special food and custom shots to maintain her health and to be able to live her life free of a cone.

Stress can exacerbate Ménière's Disease, and one of the most stressful things for Jesse is when he is worried about the health of his best buddy, Bean.

I am hoping to pull together the funds to help Jesse to have the funds to recover from some of his recent financial pitfalls, including the loss of the motor on his car and his inability to work. I also hope to give him a little cushion to be able to cover the bills and Bean's medical needs while he figures out his next steps.
