Hi, my name is Jessa. I’m a single mom of two children, and right now our little family is going through one of the biggest transitions of our lives. We truly need our community to help us through this.
Over the past year, my health has declined in ways that have made everyday life harder…and sometimes scary. I had to get on disability, but I am doing everything I can to stay stable, care for my children, and rebuild the safe, healthy life we deserve. But in the middle of all this, something unexpected happened that pushed us past what I can manage alone: Our only car became suddenly and completely disabled. It is now unsellable and unusable. We were already walking a thin line, and losing our car has taken away our ability to get to medical appointments, specialist care, church, errands, and the basic needs of daily life. Winter is here, and we simply cannot be without a vehicle.
At the same time, I have five important medical expenses coming up that insurance does not cover. These are necessary for my long-term health and stability, and without support, I will have to go without them. (If anyone wants details or prefers to help directly with medical costs, please message me privately.)
On top of everything else, I need to move closer to my family and into a smaller, safer, more manageable home. My current place is simply too large, too demanding for my health, and too far from the support I rely on. Being near family is no longer optional; it’s essential.
I am doing a donation-based clear-out of almost everything we own, auctioning furniture, and working hard to contribute toward these needs myself… but I cannot reach these goals without help. We are simply at a moment where community love could truly change our lives. If you feel led to donate, whether it’s any amount, please know that you are helping us take a real step toward stability, safety, and healing. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading our story and caring about our family. Your support, in donations, shares, or prayers, means more than you know. With love and gratitude,
Jessa & the kids.
