Hi, my name is Johnna. I'm reaching out for financial help on behalf of my sister Jess & Brother in-law Frank "Shorty".

In March of 2021 Shorty was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, stage II.

A break down of his treatment plan:

16 weeks chemo (8 treatments). Plus chemo pump at home for 2 days after each treatment. His 6th treatment is done and has 2 to go.

His Radiation with chemo starts in August for 5 1/2 weeks. (28 treatments) 5 days a week. In which they will have to drive back and forth to Saginaw for these treatments as well. That's about an hour and a half trip there and back.

He will have surgery consultation after radiation is done.

With that said,

Shorty has been the sole provider for my sister and 6 year old niece up until he was diagnosed with cancer. They have been struggling since he has been out of work and as of right now Shorty has been denied unemployment, and they were also denied food stamps from the state. They do have a lawyer in which is helping them try to get some sort of short term disability until his health better and can return to work. Their options for help help are running out. Our family has came together to help in every way we can but there's only so much we are able to do.

Their bills are piling up and we just have no certainty of when any sort of income will start coming in for them. If you are not able to help in anyway, please atleast pass this along... Share it to all you know.
