Help Jess and Josh raise money for IVF!

Hey everyone! My name is Hillary and I'm starting a fundraiser for Jess and her husband Josh to give them a little support through their tumultuous journey navigating IVF and other healthcare complexities.

If anyone has been following Jess's journey via social media, you know that this has not been an easy ride; but, through it all, she navigates each hill and valley with such unbelievable strength and perseverance. And if you're anything like me, you would pretty much do anything to help them because they are SO deserving of a new addition to their family.

In summary:

-Jess and Josh started trying to conceive in 2017 and sought out a fertility specialist one year later.

-Doctors recommended to immediately begin IVF due to a blocked fallopian tube.

-Unfortunately, it ended up being a trial and error approach. Doctors never seemed interested in finding the root cause-- so they were pushed to just keep trying IVFs.

-Jess and Josh then decided to take matters into their own hands by joining support groups and doing their own personal research.

-After their 3rd miscarriage, Jess found a specialist to perform a diagnostic surgery. Not only did they find and excise endometriosis, but they also removed a “dead” ovary that had twisted around the tube and was attached to her uterus from scar tissue. This finally explained why the tube was blocked in the first place.

-Jess feels as if many of the early years and embryos were wasted because many of these crucial diagnoses took over 5 years to discover. She feels that if doctors took the time to look harder in the beginning, they might have been successful by now.

Jess and Josh have easily spent over $25k on IVFs and surgeries and unfortunately still have nothing to show for it. I'm hoping that the community that Jess and Josh have poured their hearts into over the years can rally together to help them reach their goals of creating a family of their own!
