Jess is a single mom to an amazing daughter, Gracie. I know that Gracie is amazing because I’m Gracie’s dad, Bill. It’s tough seeing G see her mommy in a hospital bed.
The doctors found blood clots in Jess’s right leg and both lungs. She spent 2 nights in the hospital receiving treatment to thin her blood and break up the clots. She will also have to be on blood thinner medication for 6 months.
Why she needs help paying for this? Jess was laid off in May 2018 and her medical benefits expired on June 1st. The doctors found the blood clots on June 8th. Seven days earlier and she have been covered by a great medical plan. Now, the full expense of the hospital stay and prescription medication will be her responsibility.
