Help Jess’ Kids

In the early hours of April 11, 2021 the world became a little more dull when we lost the beautiful light that was Jess. Those that were lucky enough to meet her, will never forget the passion that she brought to everything she did. She rescued so many people and so many pets. She loved fiercely and partied like a rock star. None of us will be the same with her passing. 

There is now a Jess shaped hole in the world and the aftermath will be felt so keenly by her beloved children. She was their rock, their protector - their Mama Bear. The devastation brought on by her loss will need time and help to heal in a healthy way. These funds will be earmarked to fund counselling for her kids to help them through this difficult time. 

Mark Schmitt (Jess’ husband) has been set as the beneficiary of all monies from this page. Only he will have access to any raised amounts and will use them in the care of their three children (Jacob, Andreas and Laura).
