If you're getting this you're probably a friend. Maybe even one who's encouraged me to do this despite it making me squirm somewhat!

I've been writing songs for years and it's time to record some of them, it really is. Just to share them, set them free, for prosperity and, for me, some sense of tangible achievement. That bit is simple.

As some of you know caring the last few years has made saving harder than ever, but this isn't just about needing help with money (although let's be honest, I do). It's about accountability. I'll never do it unless I promise you lot I'm doing it. It's one of my proclivities and why its taken until my 45th Birthday (45!!!???) to say - 'Okay, let's do this.'

'So - let's do this?'

The plan. - 2 days recording in a live set-up with engineer £500 (I pay for mastering and will stick in on bandcamp). I hope to do this in August.

If I raise more, I might do more days, pay friends to collaborate, or use it for mastering.

Any small amount will be appreciated, and even a pints worth will help me know you're there, egging me on.

Everyone who supports will be thanked and I'll be forever grateful.
