This is extremely difficult to write and put out there, and I am struggling a great deal with the decision to do this, but without making an ask, I don’t know how else Phoebe and I will get by right now as I have no means to pay our July or August bills.

I’m currently hospitalized and have been multiple times this year for chronic illness. As I am trying to transition to working and earning almost fully online, it has not been as smooth as I had hoped, and some of the work comes with long lead times to get paid. These hospitalizations, while on average a week, actually take 2-3 weeks out of me being able to ease back into working.

For years while I had an income, I funded PALS myself because it never occurred to me that at some point I might not have an income. Due to that and situations regarding my ex and things he has done, which I don’t want to get into here but absolutely will tell the whole story, we no longer have any savings. We also do not have current health insurance, and I am terrified of what this bill will be, but there was no way to avoid being admitted.

If anyone is able to contribute anything at all, it would be truly, deeply appreciated, and as soon as I am able, I will absolutely pay it forward.
