Help Jess and Her Kids Build a Home

We are reaching out to you today to share the story of Jess, a resilient single mother of 4 kids, who is facing an unimaginable challenge of not being able to find permanent housing. Jess is a hardworking and dedicated mother. She is involved in the community and is committed to nurturing the growth and learning of all the children she works with. She contributes her time and energy to support and teach others through sharing her knowledge of forest school principals.

Right now Jess’ focus is doing everything in her power to provide her own kids with love, safety and support while also navigating the challenge of finding housing. As we all know, affordable housing is difficult to find, especially with 4 kids and limited income. We are all struggling to make ends meet and many of us are trying our best to help our friends and neighbours. This situation is one of the ways we can all make a real difference in someone else’s life.

The good news is that together we have already secured a piece of land where Jess can build a home for her family as well as workers who will do the build free of labour cost. The challenge is the cost of materials.

We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to raise the funds to build a tiny house for Jess and her kids. Any donation, whether monetary or in the form of supplies (insulation, drywall, a stove, pipes), no matter how big or small, will make a significant impact.
