Help Jess and family

A few weeks ago, my younger sister had her 3rd child. Just before giving birth, she sold her Jeep, which was her baby for many years, in order to buy a vehicle that would fit all three children (2 in car seats, one in a booster). She purchased a 2017 GMC for 26k cash, which is what she sold her Jeep for. Friday, she went to register the new to her truck, and was told that someone had just registered a truck with the same VIN number and had also applied for a duplicate title. Somehow, they replicated the VIN number onto the truck that she bought, and it matched the title she was given. She also got a copy of the sellers license at time of purchase, but it turned out to be a fake name and a fake license, but the picture matched. Everything seemed legit. It turns out, the truck was stolen from Texas, and this morning it was seized. She now has no vehicle, and is out 26k that the police said she will not get back even if they find the guy that sold her the stolen vehicle.

Any of you that know my sister, know that she is the most selfless person and did not deserve to be scammed. I have created this go fund me to help raise money to get her a car so that she can take her oldest daughter to school, and her other two children to doctors appointments and errands. My brother In law works extremely hard, but he works far from home and it is impossible for them to share a car.

They are not aware that I am doing this for them, but I feel so helpless at this point that anything will be appreciated.
