Help Jessie afford gender affirming surgery

Hi, my name is Jessie; I'm a trans woman in my mid 20s who's trying to raise funds for an orchidectomy so I can continue my transition and live the life I've always wanted. Since coming out a few years ago, I've experienced happiness for the first time, and I finally feel as if I've found a sense of being. In contrast, before, I was confused, angry and upset at myself and the world for reasons I never understood. While the transition journey is lengthy, expensive, and filled with unexpected obstacles, I've had the help and support of a wonderful group of friends and my amazing partner throughout. I've never felt alone during this process, and I owe them more than I could ever give. Because of the reasons above and inspiration from people I hold dearest, I'm turning toward the broader community to help fund the next major step in my transition.

I'm asking for £4500, which will cover:

• The cost of the procedure at a private healthcare facility.
• The cost of two specialist psychiatrist appointments that are required to qualify for the procedure.
• Travel expenses to and from the hospital.
