In January of 2025 the Franco-Mares Family got the devastating news that the rock of their family was diagnosed with cancer. Jesika is a daughter, a sister, a friend and a mother who is known for her strength compassion and kindness. She has been a High School counselor and in the education system for over 18 years dedicating her life to helping kids. Jesika and her partner Jose are keeping their two children’s lives as normal as possible with active soccer and football schedules hoping to navigate Jesika’s Chemotherapy and Radiation in the process. Jesika, Jose, Trey, and Koko are surrounded by so much love but the financial burden of medical costs will continue to be an uphill battle and anything can help. They are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support they have received and look forward to getting Jesika healthy again.
